Aahh the toddler years... It's a whirlwind of emotions, milestones, and endless energy. From their first steps to their first words, toddlers are constantly surprising and delighting us with their growth and development. It's a time of exploration, curiosity, and a newfound sense of independence.
Toddlers are like little scientists, constantly testing boundaries and learning about the world around them.
They're full of questions, laughter, and sometimes, a little bit of chaos.
It's also a time of challenges and frustrations. Tantrums, meltdowns, and picky eating are all part of the toddler experience. But through it all, there's an undeniable love and joy that comes with raising a toddler.
Photographer Mama, Pam Gasgonia is no stranger to this. While raising a toddler can be a challenge, Pam finds herself feeling blissful as she enjoys the slow days of mamahood with her little one.
The Mommy Weekly Magazine had a lovely chat with Pam who happily shared what a day in her life looks like as a mama to her gorgeous little girl Astrid.
"My day as a toddler mom starts when Astrid wakes up around 7 or 8 am, and we enjoy breakfast together before heading outside for some fresh air and vitamin D.
After that, we dive into simple learning activities or play with her toys. I also try to squeeze in some work for our photography business, Leading Lines Studio, or shoot content if I have brand projects.
After lunch, we either have nap time or more play, depending on her energy... The afternoons are usually filled with more outdoor play if we can, or I’ll run errands while she tags along. By evening, it’s all about winding down— dinner, bath time, and then reading time before she sleeps since she’s really into books now.
Once she’s asleep, I finish up any leftover tasks or just simply take a moment to relax whether it’s reading my Kindle or watching a movie with my husband!"
Each new morning comes with a new adventure when you're a mom. Some days are extremely exhausting but every day is truly rewarding. We asked Pam to share the top 3 things that help make raising a toddler easier for her...
1. Mustela Multi Purpose Avocado Balm - this has become a staple in our home. I love that this balm is great for moisturizing dry patches and spots on my toddler’s skin. It goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly without feeling greasy so we can go about our day comfortably!
What I love most is its versatility—I find myself using it on my skin too, especially when I need extra hydration. I highly recommend it to other moms looking for a gentle moisturizer that works for the whole family.

2. Happy Noz Nasal Relief Sticker Patches - these sticker patches have been a lifesaver during the cold season. They are doctor-approved and infused with oil extracts to help relieve a stuffy nose.
I’m not saying they’ll cure the common cold, but they certainly seem to help with breathing and congestion. They’re so gentle and easy to use helping my toddler feel better.

3. Doodle & Play Reusable Coloring Mat - screen time is something I try to minimize as much as possible so I always find ways to keep my toddler entertained. The Doodle & Play Reusable Coloring Mat and Pens is her absolute favorite. It’s small enough to fit in my bag and keeps her happily occupied especially when we’re out!
She loves to color and the best part is that it’s reusable because we can just easily wipe it clean with baby wipes!
The toddler stage is exciting for both parents and their little ones,
remember, patience, love, and a sense of humor are essential tools too to make parenting more fun!
